We went to Jan's house for a beautiful salad, chicken tetrazini and rolls. The meal was delicious and the company was great. The ladies who organized it tried to put people together who do not normally hang out together so we would get to know different people. I hadn't talked with our hostess in such a long time, we just don't have the opportunity. I used to babysit for her boys when they were quite small. They are now in college ~ one in grad school even! My how the time flies! After dinner, everyone met back at church for dessert and to talk about where they went and who they were with. It was a wonderfully fun evening and it helped the preschool. Double win!!

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Last night some sweet ladies in our church organized a fundraiser for the preschool called Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Everyone who wants to participate buys a ticket for the dinner. The organizers secured hosts/hostesses that would cook dinner in their own homes. The hosts would tell how many people they would have over for dinner. No one knew where they were going until we met at the church to find out whose house we were going to. The hosts didn't know who was coming for dinner until we showed up at their house. Since Hubby had pneumonia, my sweet friend Em was my date. She was supposed to babysit the kids, but when I called to tell her she was off the hook because Hubby was still sick, I also forced her asked her to go with me.
