Discovery's Launch

Well, she finally launched!  It was down to the wire whether or not the launch would go, as there were range safety issues, but within 2 seconds of having to scrub, they were able to work out the computer issues and she is now on her way to the International Space Station.  We watched today's launch from our house.  First on T.V,

If you can see the tiny white dot in the middle of this picture, that's a solid rocket booster falling toward the ocean.

The weather was beautiful, the launch was beautiful, Godspeed Discovery!
